“Quitting smoking is the most effective means by which smokers can avoid the premature death and disability caused by smoking.” These are the opening words from Nicotine without Smoke: Tobacco Harm Reduction, a report by the Royal College of Physicians.
The report was released on Thursday April 28 2016 and addresses several key issues regarding electronic cigarettes and the potential they have to prevent the disability and premature death of people in Ireland who still smoke tobacco.

IDENTIFY THE RIGHT ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE FOR YOU

There are many products to choose from and so finding the right one is not always as easy as you might think. As a newcomer to vaping, there are 2 options worth considering. The first one is a cigalike electronic cigarette. This is a popular choice for many people as they look like cigarettes and are clean and easy to use.

Four-step method of abstention from smoking
 
  • Step 1:Use the extra high or high nicotine content for 6 weeks by normal smoking habit;
  • Step 2:Use the medium nicotine content for 12 weeks by normal smoking habit;
  • Step 3:Use the low nicotine content for 4 weeks by normal smoking habit;
  • Step 4:Finally, use the zero nicotine for 2 weeks to achieve the goal of smoke abstention.
